I'm Just Getting Started: A Birthday Reflection at 48

Hi, I'm Andrea.

And this birthday feels like the perfect time to reintroduce myself.

On July 19, I turn 48.

Honestly, I feel stronger, wiser, and more aligned than I ever have.

Getting older has taught me something I wish every woman knew. Strength has very little to do with age and everything to do with how we choose to show up for ourselves.

I'm a Certified Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor, Functional Movement Coach, and Wellness Advocate, but those titles only tell part of my story.

What truly drives me is helping women discover they are capable of so much more than they ever imagined.

Strength That Supports Real Life

After a lifetime of fitness, I've come to understand that being healthy isn't about chasing perfection or living up to someone else's idea of what fitness should look like.

It's about building a body that supports the life you want to live.

Real strength is having the energy to keep up with your family.

It's walking confidently into a room because you feel good in your own skin.

It's getting up from the floor with ease, carrying groceries without pain, traveling with confidence, and navigating life's unexpected challenges with resilience.

That's why my coaching focuses on functional movement, longevity, balance, mobility, and sustainable fitness, not quick fixes or unrealistic expectations.

I help women build strength, confidence, and resilience through personalized movement that supports the life they want to live.

Whether you're navigating your 40s or beyond, rebuilding after an injury, wanting to regain confidence, or simply ready to make yourself a priority again, I'll meet you exactly where you are.

More Than a Workout

One of the greatest compliments I receive is that I genuinely care about the person before the workout.

Because I do.

Every woman has her own story, challenges, victories, and goals. My role isn't to tell you where you should be. It's to help you move forward from where you are today.

I want fitness to feel approachable, encouraging, and even fun.

There should always be room for laughter.

There should always be room for learning.

There should always be room for setbacks, fresh starts, and celebrating every step forward.

I've learned that confidence isn't measured by a number on the scale.

Sometimes progress looks like lifting heavier than you thought possible.

Sometimes it looks like climbing stairs without pain, sleeping better, moving with more ease, or finally believing in yourself again.

Every victory matters.

Wellness Is More Than Exercise

Movement is only one piece of living well.

I also love creating experiences that nourish both body and mind through yoga, sound healing, wellness collaborations, and community events.

True wellness isn't just about exercise. It's about feeling connected, grounded, supported, and empowered.

When we care for our bodies, quiet our minds, and surround ourselves with encouraging people, something beautiful happens. We begin to trust ourselves again.

A Little About Me

Outside of coaching, I'm a proud mom of three incredible kids who inspire me every single day to keep growing.

They remind me that adventure belongs at every age.

That laughter belongs in every workout.

And that movement should add joy to your life, not punishment.

I'm also continually learning, evolving, and growing. Whether I'm recovering from an injury, exploring new ways to help my clients, or deepening my knowledge of health and movement, I believe the best coaches never stop being students.

What You Can Expect From Me

Whether you've been following me for years or you're just finding me now, here's what you'll always receive from me.

• Practical fitness education you can actually use.

• Functional strength training that supports everyday life.

• Honest conversations about women's health, aging, and longevity.

• Mobility, recovery, and injury prevention strategies.

• Yoga and mindful movement.

• Motivation without guilt.

• A little humor, a lot of authenticity, and reminders that progress is never about perfection.

Why I Do This

People often ask what makes my coaching different.

The answer is simple.

I care about the woman standing in front of me long before I think about the workout.

I believe every woman deserves to feel seen, supported, and encouraged.

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all fitness plans or unrealistic expectations.

I believe in meeting women where they are, celebrating every victory, and helping them discover how strong they already are.

I don't measure success by pounds lost.

I measure it by confidence gained.

By women who can move without pain.

By clients who finally believe in themselves again.

By watching someone accomplish something she once thought was impossible.

Those moments are why I love what I do.

I don't just want to help women get stronger.

I want to empower them to become the strongest version of themselves, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

For me, this has always been about building relationships, not transactions.

My Mission

My mission is simple.

To help women become the strongest, healthiest, and most confident version of themselves, inside and out.

As I step into 48, I'm more excited than ever for what's ahead.

I'm grateful for every client, every class, every conversation, and every woman who has trusted me to be part of her journey.

If you've been here for a while, thank you.

If you're new, welcome.

I'm so glad you're here.

Here's to choosing strength.

Here's to choosing health.

Here's to becoming who we're meant to be.

I'm just getting started.

XO,
Andrea
